Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan has been explaining the fine line between parliamentary language and insults.
In the House of Keys this week, Onchan MHK Peter Karran was rapped for using phrases such as "Bum's Rush" and "La La Land".
Mr Rodan says politicians can sometimes slip into unacceptable language in the heat of debate, but it's important for the Keys to maintain its dignity.
He says his job as speaker is to make sure things remain within boundaries:
The public deserves far better than the dysfunctional shambles it's seeing
