
With less than a week to go before parts of the Isle of Man go to the polls in the local elections, canvassing is in full swing.
Not all local authority areas are having elections, with many members returned unopposed.
But six contests are under way, one of them in Laxey.
Speaker of the House of Keys and Garff MHK Steve Rodan (pictured) is urging local people to vote.
