The single vehicle road traffic collision occurred on Jurby Road
Fire crews had to use electric hydraulic cutting and spreading equipment this morning (26 December) to free one person from a wreckage.
According to the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service, crews from Kirk Michael responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision at around 4am on Jurby Road.
Upon arrival, casualty care was provided to one individual who was found to be outside the vehicle.
While a second passenger, who was trapped inside with the wreckage of the vehicle pinning them inside, needed assistance to be freed.
Once freed, the passenger was handed over to the ambulance service.
