Final two flue sections to be lifted into position later this week
A specialist crane is due to arrive on the Island today as work to repair the flue on Peel Power Station continues.
The 220-tonne crane is expected to travel to Peel this evening (4 November), before being set up tomorrow.
The work will see the final two flue sections lifted into position, with lifting operations planned for Thursday afternoon (5 November) and Friday (6 November).
The flue was damaged during severe weather in January 2025.
