582 marshals will be positioned around the course
The Isle of Man TT Races' clerk of the course says he wants residents and visitors to have a 'fantastic' racing fortnight.
In what is his 14th year overseeing the event Gary Thompson has shared a message via the organisation's WhatsApp channel.
Reporting from a sunny grandstand he says he hopes the weather sticks around for the next two weeks.
But he's also calling on fans to do their bit to make sure things run smoothly around the famous course:
