Manx government wants access to EU labour
Speculation about a leaked UK government paper on immigration options post-Brexit would be unhelpful - that's according to Chief Minister Howard Quayle.
He says there's little value in commenting on the leak until facts are established over the UK's Brexit priorities.
The paper from the UK Home Office, was leaked by the Guardian on Tuesday (5 Sep), and details options for immigration controls once Britain leave the European Union.
These include a new system ending the right for European migrants looking to settle in Britain, and restrictions on rights for visiting family members.
Mr Quayle says the Manx government does want continued access to the EU labour market where possible:
