Aim to return limit to 50 mph soon
The Department of Infrastructure says the speed limit on Richmond Hill will be raised to 40mph later this morning.
It adds that monitoring will continue with a view to returning the speed limit to 50mph in another week, if the surface continues to hold up well.
In a post on its Facebook page, the department says a long-term solution is still being assessed and further updates will be provided in due course.
