Twelve cases in one morning
An alarming number of drivers are ignoring speed limits in the capital - and many are not even aware of them.
That's according to the Island's traffic police, after a dozen vehicles were stopped on a single stretch of road in a matter of hours.
Officers were out on Vicarage Road with a radar gun yesterday morning.
They claim 'only a few knew' about the 30mph limit there.
The Fire and Rescue Service has been warning road users to take extra care this week, as the first spell of rain in almost a month has created slippy conditions.
