Infrastructure Minister says current arrangements may need rethink
It doesn't help having responsibility for trimming hedges and keeping road signs clear split between multiple authorities.
That's the view of Infrastructure Minister Tim Baker, who says it's important his department has the right powers.
A recent speed study by Malew Commissioners found more than 1,200 motorists travelling through St Marks village more than 20mph over the speed limit, including one doing 90mph.
Each local authority has responsibility for their own maintenance, but Mr Baker says this may need looking at:
Road closures in place following incident in Hillberry area
Accessible bus stops rolled out across Bus Vannin network
£1 million National AI Office launched to coordinate artificial intelligence policy and adoption
Confusion over cause of issues for IOM residents selling on Vinted
Peel Commissioners first to announce rate increases
