Islander overwhelmed at inclusion on New Year Honours list
An Islander has described the phone call informing him he was to receive an MBE as a 'surreal experience'.
Phil Taubman was named on the Queen's New Year Honours list for services to motorcycling and the Manx community.
He still can't believe he was nominated to receive the gong.
Mr Taubman says somebody even made a spook prediction early last year.
