Island Games beyond reach of some - Bass
The manager of the Island's leading football club has called on government to put more money into sport.
St George's boss Chris Bass made the comments when he appeared on Friday Football Focus on Manx Radio (18 Nov).
It's after some senior footballers said they can't afford the cost of attending the Island Games in Gotland next year, because of other financial commitments in their lives.
Chris claims sport - when it comes to competing off-Island - is becoming something for the wealthier in Manx society:
