A scheme to teach teenagers in the Isle of Man leadership and coaching skills is back for a second year.
The Sports Leaders Programme is coordinated by the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure and is again being sponsored by Sure.
Last year 67 youngsters, in the 16 to 18 age group, delivered around 315 hours of coaching at primary schools and sports clubs.
Community sports development officer for the north and west of the Island Mike Taubman says participants are given proper training and learn on the job:
