The government’s revealed it’s tired of having a Bowl with no name.
The Department of Community Culture and Leisure says it’s looking for a name sponsor for the venue, which will be the centrepiece of the Commonwealth Youth Games next month.
The deal would include not only the Bowl itself, but also the National Sports Centre and Minister David Cretney says it would mean the facilities need less taxpayer’s cash to operate.
Any companies interested in branding the Bowl have until Friday, September 30, to make an offer.
