MSPCA offers advice after a number spotted in Manx gardens
A number of racing pigeons have reportedly been stopping in gardens on the Isle of Man.
The ManxSPCA has been offering advice to anyone who may find one resting.
It says to offer them bird food or crushed cornflakes and a deep dish of water and to remove the food source after 48 hours.
They can complete flights as long as 1,100 miles and may spend up to 10 days resting in an area.
If you're concerned about a bird's welfare, you can report it to the Royal Pigeon Racing Association here.
