Chief minister insists help is at hand
Helping the 'squeezed middle' is a key aim in government's latest budget, the chief minister insists.
The 2018/19 Pink Book contains a number of measures ministers claim will help families on lower incomes, including higher child benefits and contributions towards nursing care costs.
But concerns have been raised about the impact on those who are 'just about managing' - and may not see any real benefit through welfare increases.
