
A 30 year-old man from St John’s has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Donovan Bradley Kitching also faces six other charges relating to a fatal collision on the Tholt-y-Will Road on Saturday teatime in which a pedestrian was killed.
No pleas were entered.
He is also accused of driving whilst disqualified; escaping lawful custody; having no insurance; failing to stop after an accident; taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent and possession of a class B drug (amphetamine).
He has been remanded in custody until May 6 when he will appear before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes.
