St. John's will not be allowed to compete at the Island Games in Bermuda as a club side.
That's the clear message coming from the International Island Games Association.
It's now up to the Isle of Man Island Games Association to approve St. John's as their representatives in the Football tournament.
The Council of the Isle of Man Football Association voted narrowly on Tuesday to allow St. John's to seek permission to enter the competition.
However, conditions were made such as not wearing the Manx national kit or giving the impression they are the Isle of Man FA representative side.
Chairman of the International Island Games Association Jorgen Pettersson has told Manx Radio the decision has to be made locally and St. John's will have to represent the Isle of Man:-
