IOMPO chair Julie Edge defends board's decision
The job of the St John's Sub-postmaster wasn't re-advertised because it's not clear what the job will be in the future.
That's from Isle of Man Post Office chair Julie Edge, who has defended the decision to close the counter in the village.
The board decided not to hire anyone new after the current sub-postmaster resigned - he is to officially step down in August.
