Crews from Peel tackle 'small area of re-ignition'
Firefighters returned to Staarvey Road last night after a barn fire, originally tackled on Monday night, partially reignited.
The Fire and Rescue Service says it was caused by 'hot spots' in the debris catching alight due to the weather conditions.
Crews from Peel quickly extinguished the fire.
Police closed the road due to the strong winds and concerns over the structural integrity of the barn.
After the initial blaze on Monday night, the owners of Staarvey Farm praised the response of the Fire and Rescue Service.
