Visibility forecast to be good
Stargazing enthusiasts are hoping the weather holds out for one of the key events in their calendar this weekend.
Visibility for the Perseid meteor shower is forecast to be good for tonight (SAT) and tomorrow night (SUN).
The celestial show sees a display of shooting stars as the earth passes through comet Swift-Tuttle's debris stream.
Astronomer, Howard Parkin, says conditions might not be the best this year but it is still a magnificent event nonetheless:
