Five female leaders in tech industries to speak at virtual meeting
A start-up collective is aiming to bring women in technology together in a virtual event this evening (11 June).
Startup Grind Isle of Man has organised the meeting, which will involve five executives from businesses around the world, discussing the key to success in male-dominated fields.
It also aims to consider COVID-19's impact on the technology sector.
Director of Start Up Grind on the Island, Katie Nicholson, says the event is part of SG Women's Month, which aims to inspire more girls into taking up STEM subjects (Science Technology Engineering and Maths):
Among those speaking will be Angela van den Berg, Chair of Love Tech Isle of Man.
The event takes place this evening at 5:30pm.
Registration is free, to sign up go to either startupgrind.com/isleofman/ or LoveTech's Facebook page.
