Chief minister outlines possible exit in Tynwald
The state of emergency on the Island could be lifted early next week, but some coronavirus related laws may continue.
In Tynwald today (16 June) Howard Quayle said the Council of Ministers would consider which regulations may need to remain in place beyond this point.
The chief minister described the powers as a 'necessary evil' which kept the Manx public safe.
He confirmed the Lieutenant Governor would be asked to call an end to the state of emergency next week:
