Landowner contacts officers after spotting people in fields
Police are urging the public to stay away from fields occupied by cows and calves.
A landowner in Tromode contacted officers after spotting people in the area and finding evidence of alcohol being used.
The constabulary warns cows can be extremely protective of their young, so those nearby could be putting themselves in danger.
Officers will be patrolling the area and supporting the landowner should any offences be committed.
