The Isle of Man’s role in the evacuation of Dunkirk in World War II is being explored this morning (Thursday).
Manx National Heritage curator Matthew Richardson is assessing the role of the Steam Packet Company and its crews in a talk entitled 'Voices from Dunkirk'.
It's part of a series of events to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Royal British Legion, and aims to give a flavour of what it was like to be part of the evacuation from the perspective of those on board the Steam Packet ships.
The hour-long talk is at the iMuseum in Kingswood Grove, Douglas at 10am.
There is no admission charge, but donations can be made to the Poppy Appeal.
