Woodward leaves the company after 32 years
Steam Packet boss Mark Woodward will stand down this summer after 32 years at the company.
He joined in 1989 and succeeded the late Hamish Ross as chief executive officer in 2007.
In his tenure he's overseen the Steam Packet's sale to the government and secured a new purpose-built vessel which is due to enter service in 2023.
Mr Woodward says he's been contemplating retirement for a year or so and that it's been a 'genuine pleasure, and an honour, to work for such a vital and historic company'.
Commercial director John Watt is also set to stand down after being with the company since 1995.
