Lack of certainty over User Agreement means long-term planning 'difficult'
The Steam Packet will not be able to call on the additional fast craft it used this year, at next year's TT.
And at present, says the Packet, there is little prospect of finding another vessel to fill the gap.
This year the company carried just over 14,000 motorcycles.
Thats 16 per cent up on last year and a higher number than any year since the Centenary TT in 2007.
Steam Packet Chief Executive Mark Woodward says the continuing uncertainty over renegotiating the user agreement means the firm cannot plan ahead effectively:
