The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company says there are several 'critical' issues it must address as it looks to overhaul the Sea Services Agreement.
It was last updated in 2019 but is believed to be outdated and doesn't reflect the current 'realities' and 'uncertainties' the Island faces.
The document sets out requirements for the ferry operator to abide by to ensure services for 'long-term economic and social wellbeing' are in place.
