Winds could reach severe gale nine
Tomorrow's Ben-my-Chree sailings to and from Birkenhead have been cancelled, the Steam Packet has confirmed.
Winds are expected to reach gale force eight to severe gale force nine in the Irish Sea tomorrow morning.
As it stands, tomorrow's 8pm sailing to Heysham is unaffected.
Earlier today, meanwhile, the Steam Packet announced this evening's sailing to Heysham and the overnight return had been moved.
The Ben is leaving Douglas 45 minutes early at 7pm, and is scheduled to set off from Heysham an hour early at 1.15am.
