Several crossings have been brought forward to avoid the worst of the conditions
A number of today's sailings have been brought forward ahead of the arrival of gale force winds.
The Steam Packet has rescheduled several Manannan services, as well as this morning's Manxman departure.
The 2pm Manannan service to Liverpool left just before 5am, with the 6.15pm return service now scheduled for 9.15am.
The 10.45pm departure to Liverpool is now leaving at 1.45pm, while the 2.15am crossing from Liverpool tomorrow morning is now expected to leave at 5.45pm today.
Meanwhile, the 8.45am Manxman crossing is leaving 30 minutes early, allowing the 2.15pm return service from Heysham to depart at 1pm.
A yellow weather warning for gale force winds comes into force at 9pm.
