Image shows bikes on their side after Manxman sailing
The Steam Packet is to investigate the circumstances around a picture circulating online.
It appears to show three motorbikes that fell over during a sailing on the Manxman.
The picture has led to criticism of how the Steam Packet transports bikes, as they appear to be secured only using rope.
In a statement, the company said: "Vehicles are lashed in accordance with our cargo handling procedures on all our vessels. As with all such instances, the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company will investigate the circumstances surrounding this and liaise with customers affected."
