Midweek crossings could be cancelled
The Steam Packet has issued a warning about possible disruption to sailings on Wednesday and overnight into Thursday.
The weather forecast suggests strong to gale force southerly winds with gusts of 50 to 55mph.
A decision on Wednesday morning's 8:45am sailing to Heysham and the 2:15pm return to Douglas will be made at 7am on the day.
There is also the chance the later sailings on Wednesday evening and the early hours of Thursday morning will be cancelled.
