Expecting Bus Vannin to be able to transport schoolchildren to and from STEMFest was 'a slight step too far' during the current driver shortage.
That's from the enterprise minister after his department recently confirmed the annual event, which promotes careers in science, technology, maths and engineering, had been postponed because of transport challenges.
It's hoped a new date for early next year will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
