A hearing will take place at Edinburgh Sheriff's Court this morning (Monday) as preparations continue for a fatal accident inquiry into the death of TT star Steve Hislop.
The 11-times TT winner and British Superbike champion, a former Island resident, died in a helicopter crash near Hawick in the Scottish border in 2003.
An official report concluded the accident was caused by the main rotor blades striking the helicopter tail boom - but aircraft malfunction has not been ruled out.
A six-day hearing was due to start in December but was delayed to allow all parties more time to prepare.
It’s not clear whether that will begin in full this week following today’s hearing.
