
An inquiry into the death of 11-times TT winner Steve Hislop will go ahead later this month.
A preliminary hearing was held at Edinburgh Sheriff's Court yesterday (Tuesday) and the full investigation will now be held on April 28.
The Onchan resident (pictured), also a twice British Superbike Champion, died in July 2003 in a helicopter crash near Hawick, in the Scottish Borders.
Last year, the Scottish authorities decided more investigation was warranted.
An earlier Air Accident Investigation Branch report said pilot error could have caused the tragedy but aircraft malfunction could not be ruled out.
