
There's been a huge wave of interest in joining the Island’s police force as it carries out its fifth recruitment drive in three years.
A total of ten student officers will start their jobs in January next year, but 1,000 people downloaded information packs form the website or asked for packs by post.
A shortlist of 80 applicants will now be whittled down through an assessment process, before the final ten undergo on-Island training.
