It’s a big day for a Manx actor in Stoke-on-Trent today (Wednesday).
Manxman Simon Fletcher takes on the lead in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ‘The King & I’ at the Regent Theatre.
He was asked to take part in the show, performed by the Stoke company Stage Productions, after impressing in the role for Taylorian Productions at the Gaiety Theatre last summer.
Simon says he’s excited if a little nervous ahead of this afternoon’s big opening.
