Infrastructure Minister David Cretney says granite block paving stones are the best choice to regeneration areas in Douglas – and were chosen after public consultation.
In the House of Keys this week, he faced questions about the blocks from Onchan MHK David Quirk.
In a question for written answer, Mr Quirk asked if the minister was happy the blocks were suitable – and who was laying the pavements.
In his reply, Mr Cretney said the stone complied with British Standards and were chosen by the Douglas Development Partnership.
