Hit by Christmas storms
Work is underway to restore damage to one of the best-known pieces of Manx industrial heritage.
Scaffolding has been erected around the Cross Vein Mine site, in Foxdale, commonly known as Snuff the Wind.
Stone work was ripped from halfway up the structure during storms over the Christmas period.
