Amber and yellow warnings issued for Saturday
Multi-agency teams have been involved in briefings from the Ronaldsway Met Office to ensure measures are in place for the weather due to affect the Island in the early hours of tomorrow and throughout the day (7 December).
An amber weather warning for severe gales and storm force winds will be in place from 4am until 11:59pm on Saturday, whilst heavy rain is expected from 3pm today until midday tomorrow.
People are being urged to do as much as they can today to secure their properties, with a warning that there is a risk of damage.
