Potential for weather warning to be upgraded
An amber weather warning for storm force winds later this week could be upgraded to red as Storm Éowyn approaches the Island.
Forecasters are expecting gusts of almost 80mph in the early hours of Friday morning (24 January) leading to potential damage and travel disruption.

The Steam Packet is warning that a number of sailings from tomorrow evening are subject to possible disruption or cancellation.
