President of Tynwald Noel Cringle is officially launching the 2009 Royal British Legion poppy appeal in the Isle of Man today.
The Island has a proud record to defend after fundraising topped the £100,000 mark, an all-time record, in last year’s appeal.
The Manx public is being urged to show its support once again.
