Mental Health the poor relation for too long
The Island’s Health Minister hopes a new strategic plan will mean more help and support for people suffering mental health problems than ever before. This week, Howard Quayle will ask for Tynwald’s backing for the strategy, which aims to bring the government and other bodies together to tackle the issues. It’s the first time the Isle of Man will have had such a plan – which emphasises mental health is as important as physical. Mr Quayle says that hasn’t always been the case:

Government 'neglecting' heritage assets across the Island
Motiv8: 'We will never reach all the children on the Isle of Man'
House of Keys question paper dominated by one MHK
Onchan Commissioners to undertake 'accessibility' review of park equipment
Efforts to push more services online causing frustration in community
