Census information is taken into account, says minister
The Island's Strategic Plan needs to reflect reality.
That's the belief of Bill Shimmins MHK, who brought a motion to Tynwald yesterday calling for an urgent amendment to the plan.
After three hours of debate, the issue was adjourned until October for a combined vote on an amendment to his motion, put forward by Tim Baker MHK.

Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas says the plan will take into account information regarding population figures, and he believes a lot of MHKs are more concerned over the proper use of brownfield sites:
