Experts working with government
A new flood defence strategy from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is long overdue, according to its MHK.
DEFA Minister Richard Ronan says flood defences across the Island will make it a more resilient and safe place to live.
Flood risk experts JBA Consulting Isle of Man, is working with government to develop the strategy.
Mr Ronan says there are a number of areas to look into:

'Too early to tell' what caused fire
Firefighting foam may have killed fish in Silverburn River
Additional road closure for TT filming ahead of MGP qualifying
'Knives and sharp implements' left outside charity shops
