Follows a road traffic accident
The Mountain Road is currently shut (2:35pm 30 May) from the hairpin in Ramsey to the Bungalow.
Police have confirmed emergency services are dealing with an RTC along the route.
In a post on social media, they said the road is expected to be closed for a 'significant period of time'.
A further update is expected 'in due course'.
UPDATE 7:30PM: The Mountain Road has now officially reopened in full following this afternoon's RTC
