Manx Telecom Managing Director Chris Hall says next week’s planned strike by 200 of its workers shouldn’t affect its services.
This morning, the Communications Workers’ Union announced its members would walk out in a one-day strike over a pay rise.
Earlier this year the company offered a 4.1 per cent rise, but workers are unhappy because it’s significantly below the current rate of inflation.
As well as downing tools, staff will work to rule until the disagreement is settled.
