Includes one man hoping to be the first wheelchair racer from the Island to complete it
A strong field of competitors from the Isle of Man are preparing to take part in today's London Marathon.
One of them this year also has the chance to make Manx history at the event.
Michael Ryan - who previously served in the military with the Royal Engineers - is hoping to become the first wheelchair competitor from the Island to finish the full race.
He's been telling Manx Radio why the London Marathon is a challenge he personally wanted to take on:
