Masonry falls from Auldyn House on Parliament Street
A structurally unsafe building in the north of the Island has meant part of a key route has been closed for emergency repairs.
Ramsey Commissioners have obtained the road closure following issues with Auldyn House on Parliament Street.
The building has been unoccupied for years, with work currently underway on the interior.
However the contractor has raised concerns after loose masonry came away on the street side of the building.
The closure will stay in place until it's no longer deemed a threat to the public's safety.
Alternative routes for traffic are via Tower Street and Water Street.
