
Two Manx students are in London today at a special event to mark the Queen’s 60 years on the throne.
Hayley Robinson and Elliott Alexander, head pupils at Ramsey Grammar School and QEII High School, are at Westminster for a service of celebration which marks 60 years since the coronation.
It will be attended by Her Majesty as well as the Duke of Edinburgh.
The two were chosen at random from a list of pupils nominated by Lieutenant Governor Adam Wood.
His Excellency will also be there, along with Deemster Doyle and Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan.
