Those studying childcare, nursing and social care told to look elsewhere
Around 120 prospective students hoping to obtain childcare and nursing qualifications are being told they'll have to find an alternative institution to carry out their studies elsewhere.
Isle Learn announced its intended closure towards the end of May which has previously been described as a 'devastating' move for the sector.
The organisation is the only private provider of childcare, nursing and social care qualifications that allow you to work and study.
Government has recently announced a new childcare strategy which would enable parents to receive credit in attempt to stimulate the economy and get more people back into work.
However, Isle Learn's Managing Director Ed Halls told Manx Radio they'd exhausted every support option, but even government won't intervene.
